Mat and equipment comprehensive Pilates teacher training in English 2024 – 25 information:
Hello and welcome to Somatic Studio’s comprehensive mat and equipment pilates instructor training. The training starts on 5.10.2024 and includes 14 contact teaching days Sat-Sun 8-16, see schedule below. The price of the training is 4190€ (incl. VAT). Contact study days are held at Somatic studio at Kasarmikatu 36, Helsinki. After completing the training, you can instruct basic and intermediate level mat and equipment classes and apply for a membership in the Finnish Pilates Association.
Somatic Pilates – equipment instructor training contents and timetable 2024-25
- Reformer basic level 2 days
- Reformer intermediate level 2 days
- Cadillac basic and intermediate levels 2 days
- Chair basic and intermediate 2 days
- Barrels (ladder barrel, spine corrector, arc) 1 day
- Matwork 3 days
- Anatomy 1 day
- Practical test – observation 1 day
- Case study 10 h of instructing your own customer + a written summary
- Additional 20 h of instructor training with own customers
- Attending equipment classes for 45 h (5 h included in the price of the training, rest are at own expense)
- 85 h of independent training
- 40 h of class observations (max 15 h Pilates Anytime etc. online videos are accepted)

The training is paid monthly in eight installments of 500.25 €.
